My name is Richard Fryar.
I am an experienced SQL Server DBA, having developed and administered SQL Server since 1996. I specialize in administration, design and
performance tuning of OLTP databases.

I can guide and advise you on where to look, or conduct the investigation myself. You may want one very particular application area examined, or it
may be an entire system grinding to a halt. Either way, I have the experience and expertise to diagnose the problem and recommend the necessary
steps to resolve it.
Server Audit
How are your SQL servers configured? Have they been set up according to best practice? What monitoring and alerts are in place?
How are applications accessing the data? Are your SQL Servers secure? I can audit your environment and produce a report with recommendations.
Candidate Vetting
Are you recruiting a new DBA or developer? Are you an agency wanting to ensure that a candidate's technical expertise matches their claims?
I provide a technical vetting service whereby I conduct a telephone interview on your behalf, and provide you with a report highlighting the
candidates strengths and weaknesses.
